As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

The Bridge College exists to glorify God by helping college students become and make disciples of Jesus Christ, for the purpose of equipping them for life.

College Life

Wednesdays • 8pm
The Bridge Downtown Campus
500 W. Georgia Ave
College Life is a midweek gathering for worshipping together, learning more about God, and connecting with one another.

College Life is not intended to replace Sunday morning services. At The Bridge, college students are an integral part of our church family, and Sundays create great opportunities for service and connection.

Roots

Tuesdays • 8pm
The Bridge Downtown Campus
500 W. Georgia Ave
Roots is a Freshman Community Group led by young adults in our church who have a desire to pour into college students. We want to be a part of the process that builds the roots of Christ into freshman just entering college so that they may know Him and serve Him more deeply throughout their college career. This program is a temporary program for freshmen as our desire is for them to moving on to one of our College Community Groups at the end of the Roots program.

Our hope is to offer this group at the beginning of every school year.

If you are an incoming freshman in college, this group is for you!

Groups and One on One Discipleship

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

Beyond our Sunday and Wednesday gatherings, students have the opportunity to connect with one another in  small groups throughout the week. These Groups provide space to learn, connect, and grow together.

In one-on-one discipleship, students are paired with people in our church who provide mentorship through many challenges that college students face.

Hear from our students.

Junior
"The college ministry has given me so much and poured into me more than I could’ve ever asked for. Every single week I look forward to Wednesday nights where I can worship and learn more about the Lord while being surrounded by a group of college students striving to love and glorify the Lord just the same as me. I’ve never had a group of people constantly push me in my faith and encourage me in life. The Bridge is more than just a church, it’s my community where I feel loved and seen and I couldn’t be more thankful."

"The Bridge Community Church’s college ministry has left an deep and lasting, positive impact on my life and many others lives. The friendships formed within the ministry and the many people that are waiting, open-armed to begin them have meant a lot to me. I love the comradery and community felt as soon as one walks through the doors on any Wednesday night.

"John, Jacob, Ashley, and Jess do a great job plugging people into community groups to further experience the community found on Wednesday nights. And those small groups can be just as beneficial as Wednesdays and are wonderfully designed to compliment the fun atmosphere of Wednesday nights with a smaller, more intimate group setting."

Korie Allensworth

Freshman
"I love College Life on Wednesdays because I get to grow/learn and worship the Lord while also being surrounded by the best people who are there for the same reason.

"I love the college ministry at The Bridge because they make you feel welcomed and loved. They work hard to help guide us in our walk with Christ."

Christian Crosby

Senior
"I love College Life because of the intentionally behind everything that is done. There are alway new faces to meet and friends to say hi to. The messages are for college age students and meet me where I am each week. The overall community and accountability within the ministry is incredible to be a part of. Each week I feel sharpened and pushed to look more like Jesus and love people better around me!"
